About Next Great Thing
In case you were wondering where we came up with the name Next Great Thing, we thought you might find the story interesting.
I was attending a trade show in San Francisco a number of years ago and an older gentleman came by and began to ask a lot of questions. He wanted to know all the details about our products and services for the real estate broker and agent.
After what seemed like over 20 minutes of answering all of his questions, I asked him if was a real estate broker. He said no. I asked, a Realtor? He said no. I then became a little suspicious and asked him what he was doing then at this trade show (hoping all along I hadn’t been simply telling of our competitors our whole pitch). His answer was one that I have never forgotten. He said, “I am looking for the next great thing.”
